Safework – Responsible for administering the workplace, health, safety and welfare laws in South Australia. This site also has some free rate sheets for some State awards.

Fairwork Commission – – the national workplace relations tribunal. This site has a wide range of information on Australian workplace rights and rules including awards and the National Employment Standards (NES).

South Australian Industrial Relations – The web site of the South Australian Industrial Court and Industrial Relations Commission. It has hearing lists, South Australian Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements as well as other useful information including information on apprentices and trainees.

Australian Human Rights Commission (formerly known as the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission or “HREOC”) – – a very comprehensive web site which includes a section: “Information for Employers”. This Commission is responsible for administering the Commonwealth’s equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws.

South Australian Equal Opportunity – This is the State Commission., responsible for the administration of the South Australian Equal Opportunity Act. The website has a section: “EO for Business” which contains sub-sections: “Employers”, “Shops and Services” and “Landlords”.

South Australian – Has all South Australian laws and regulations as well as bills before the Parliament.

Commonwealth – the Commonwealth equivalent to the above, South Australian site. – an extremely useful site used by practising lawyers and law students alike. The site is a comprehensive collection of Australian and international case law and legal materials.

Industrial Relations Society of South Australia (now ALERA SA – Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association) – is an association comprised of members with strong interests in the field of Industrial Relations. The association regularly holds seminars, distributes newsletters and fosters quality networking opportunities.
